Disclaimer

Last updated: October 2026

This disclaimer applies to the V2Ray for Android website's setup guides, client download links, and related technical content. Review these service limitations before using the information here, and consider your device and environment before installing software or changing network settings.

1. Website purpose and scope

This site is the official V2Ray website, offering guides and download links for the V2Ray ecosystem, including installation, subscription imports, routing rules, and proxy modes in v2rayNG, v2flyNG, and v2rayN. Its documentation provides general technical information and does not guarantee suitability for any specific device, network, or use case.

Client download links do not provide network access. This site does not offer subscription accounts, remote proxy servers, or guaranteed connection quality. Whether a client connects successfully depends on configuration, server status, system permissions, and network conditions—not merely on whether it downloaded or installed successfully.

2. Software and configuration risks

Users are responsible for assessing the risks of installing and using clients, and for actions they choose to take. Enabling a VPN, TUN, system proxy, or custom DNS may change how network traffic is routed and affect some apps, local network access, or system services. Save your current configuration before making changes, and make sure you can restore the original settings.

Choose an installer for your device platform and processor architecture, and review system permission prompts. Do not weaken system security settings just to resolve connection issues. Before using subscriptions, configuration files, or scripts from unknown sources, check their contents and permission requirements. Test first in a recoverable environment on devices used for critical work.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, this site is not liable for connection interruptions, data loss, or other losses caused by device incompatibility, incorrect configuration, third-party service outages, or improper use. This does not exclude or limit liability where the law prohibits doing so.

3. Tutorial accuracy and version differences

Guides reflect the client version available when they were written or last revised. Later updates may change menu names, default ports, core capabilities, or configuration fields; device manufacturers may also move permission settings. If the steps shown differ from your interface, follow the prompts in your installed version and consult its documentation.

We make reasonable efforts to keep information accurate, but cannot guarantee that all content will always be complete, current, or suitable for every environment. Configuration snippets explain specific fields and should not be treated as complete, ready-to-run configurations. Before using them, check the context, parameter dependencies, and core support, and avoid mixing fields from different versions.

4. Downloads and external links

Download links may use same-origin forwarding to reach the actual file source. Other resource links may lead to pages managed by third parties. These links help locate resources; they do not mean this site controls the destination website, its file publishing process, or subsequent changes, and they do not guarantee third-party services.

Third parties may change files, access requirements, privacy policies, or terms of service. When visiting linked resources, verify that the content is what you expect and review the applicable terms. If a link is broken, a download is interrupted, or the destination content has changed, stop and reassess; a previously listed link does not mean the resource will remain available.

5. Protecting information, corrections, and limitations

Subscription URLs, account details, and full configurations may contain access credentials. Keep them secure, and remove sensitive information before sharing logs or screenshots. Our guides do not ask you to publish these details. Assess the risk of exposing information based on how you handle and share configurations.

When using a client, follow applicable laws and the rules of your network, device, and service provider. If a guide's steps do not match your setup or a configuration does not work, check Frequently Asked Questions or review the steps in the setup guide. Read this disclaimer together with the Terms of Use. Nothing here should be interpreted as waiving any liability required by law.
